Ryusendo Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the official launch of Kyoh^®, a plant-based ingredient for hair health developed and manufactured by Pharmactive Biotech Products, Spain, effective October 14, 2026. Ryusendo has secured exclusive distribution rights for Kyoh^® in Japan.
Derived from rocket leaves (Eruca vesicaria), Kyoh^® has been developed with a focus on dermal papilla cells, which play an important role in hair growth and follicular function. In addition to in vitro research, Kyoh^® has been evaluated in a 12-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial involving 150 men and women, with assessments including hair density.
Ryusendo will promote Kyoh^® in the Japanese market as a new ingredient for inner beauty and hair care applications, supporting the development of innovative dietary supplements and other functional food products.

Kyoh^® will also be showcased at Ryusendo’s booth (No. 2-337) during Hi Japan 2026 (Health Ingredients Japan), held at Tokyo Big Sight from October 14-16, 2026.
