Kyoh^® is a plant-based functional ingredient for hair health, derived from rocket leaves (Eruca vesicaria) and developed by Pharmactive Biotech Products in Spain. Focusing on hair follicle dermal papilla cells, which play an important role in hair growth, Kyoh^® is standardized to contain at least 1.5% Erucosides^®, a proprietary complex of flavonol glycosides.
In addition to basic research on hair follicle function, Kyoh^® has been evaluated in a 12-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial involving 150 men and women, with reported increases in hair density and related parameters.
